ABOUT JUDY

Judy Hatswell is a teacher and registered psychologist who has led state and regional programs at a managerial level. These programs in student welfare, guidance and behaviour management have been based on Choice Theory.

Judy now works as a consultant and leads her own company. Her thorough practical knowledge and experience in a whole school approach to developing responsible student behaviour and teaching skills has been recognised by educators throughout Australia.

As a specialist psychologist in severe student behaviour disorders, Judy has trained staff, parents, counsellors and teaching support staff in effective management of students with problems.

Judy has been teaching and living Choice Theory and Reality Therapy for twenty years. She was the first Australian to become a Senior Faculty Member of the William Glasser Institute and has led the Australian WGI as President.

Judy's entertaining style of synthesising theory and practical strategies has been widely recognised in schools and businesses. At all levels from student and worker to teacher, leader and administrator Judy has positively influenced improvement in communication, relationships and achievement.
